Words of silence echo

in a room filled with his emptiness,

the hollow nature of an emotion unexplored.

Gently, she presses for higher inspiration

in a poet who has known only the void

of loneliness, lost in the spaces between

where dreams of love and hate collide.

Where strength finds itself overturned by confusion

as words seek release from a feeble tongue

and the greatest of inspiration

lingers radiantly before him,

and yet so far away...
