Open Skies, like most magazines or journals of a literary nature, seeks to bring together a memorable collection of works from many unique voices. Some previously published, some previously unknown, and many that we hope will remain with you long after you've finished reading the works found in each Volume. 

Volume Six highlights the work of LaVern Spencer McCarthy. An award winning poet, and lifetime member of The Poetry Society Of Texas, she is the author of nine poetry and short story books and has published widely among literary journals. A uniquely talented voice whose "Spotlight" is certain to captivate our readers.
